Covid-19 Updates

We are extremely excited to be reopening gradually from next week and we hope the children are all looking forward to their gymnastics lessons. As previously we have made every effort to ensure that our reopening is as safe as possible for staff, gymnasts are parents / guardians. For those who had children attending from September 2020 – December 2020, our safety policies and procedures are going to remain similar for the foreseeable future. Please can we ask that that you please familiarise yourself with the procedures to ensure that everyone remains as safe as possible and to avoid any confusion. Please can I also ask that you read the following in preparation of your child returning or starting gymnastics in the next few weeks. Those who are on the waiting list, we will be in touch in the next two weeks regarding new children starting. The one way system is still in place and the building will be locked so parents / guardians will not be allowed to enter the building unless invited to do so by a member of staff. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier that the stated start time for your child’s lesson. Please can you ensure that you are on time to pick up your child from their lesson. The children will have their temperature checked and hands sanitised when they enter the building. We are no longer selling drinks, so if you child requires a drink, please ensure this is labelled to help avoid cross contamination. Children should arrive dressed ready to start their lessons and only bring additional clothes if absolutely necessary. Please also ensure the children are wearing shoes that are easy to put on and off by themselves. Parents / Guardians must wear face coverings when dropping off or picking up unless they are exempt. Similarly over 11’s must wear a face covering to and from their gymnastics lessons and have a sealed contained / bag to store the mask in during their session – We will have spare by the entrance if they forget. Advanced gymnasts are to bring their personal equipment with them on their first lesson and leave them in their individual box rather than take their belongings back and fore. Thank you and we look forward to seeing our members very soon!
